Check out all of the events coming up at the library!





1. Meet the Teacher Night - Students and parents are invited to visit the school, meet their teacher, and check out what the library has to offer them this year.
2. Book Fair - Students and family members or friends are invited to purchase quality books at good prices, all while supporting the library!
3. Pumpkin Character Decorating Contest - Students are encouraged to enter a pumpkin decorating contest, where they make a pumpkin look like a character in a book they have checked out from the library.
4. Google Hangout w/Book Buddies - Classes will use Google Hangouts to meet virtually with a book buddy class either at our school or at another campus.
5. Parent Technology Training - Parents are invited to come to school and learn about the online resources our campus and school district offer to students.
6. Books and Bagels - Students can invite up to 2 special guests to come to school with them for bagels and book exploration time in the library.
7. Makerspace Night - Parents or family members are invited to see the makerspace creations students have built, and to explore and build together as a family.
8. Early Readers Event - Parents of future students, ages 2-4 are invited for a storytime event.
9. Author Visit - A local author, Mary Carole Strother, will come to our library and read her published book about about city's history: Colin McKinney.
10. Polar Express Storytime - Students are invited to wear their pajamas and enjoy a read aloud of The Polar Express and some hot chocolate.
